Recipe Savory pie with sauerkraut, ham and pear
A really delicious sweet pie with the pear pieces. I would like to share the recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Betis olive oil, the cooking oil that hardly splashes
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- 1 leek, thinly sliced
- 150 g ham, in strips
- 500 g sauerkraut, drain briefly
- 2 tsp caraway seeds
- 3 pears, peeled and diced
- 1 pack filo pastry, thawed
- 50 g butter
- 3 eggs
- 125 ml crème fraîche
24 cm diameter greased springform pan
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Put the Betis cooking oil in a preheated pan and fry the leek for about 4 minutes on a medium heat. Now you can fry the garlic for 1 minute. Then add the sauerkraut, ham, caraway seeds and pear cut into cubes. Stir for about 3 minutes. Melt the butter in another pan. Unfold the filo pastry and brush 2 sheets with butter, repeat this with the filo pastry. Place the sheets in the springform pan and let a lot of the dough fall over the edge. Beat the eggs with the crème fraîche and some salt and pepper. Mix this through the sauerkraut and spoon this into the springform pan. You can now fold the overhanging dough back over the filling. You can brush the top with a little milk. Bake the pie for about 30 minutes and let it stand for 10 minutes before cutting.
Enjoy your meal !
